Psychometric Testing
Organisations are increasingly finding the value of using ability tests and personality profiles to reduce the risk of selecting the wrong person. However there are a myriad of psychometric tools available and it can be very difficult for organisations to choose the most appropriate system for their requirements and then to ensure that they are administered to the correct standard.
At Working Career occupational psychology tests and personality profiles are a large part of our “tool kit” in our career consulting, assessment and development work.
We do not recommend that these be used on a stand alone basis. The real value lies in combining the use of these tools with an understanding and exploration of how their outputs relate to the role and organisation.
